On the 17th of December, 2010, the UCICC and Human Rights Network Uganda (HURINET-U) held a joint press conference at the HURINET-U offices in Ntinda.

At the press conference, two statements were issued: One concerned the recent failed visit by President Omar al-Bashir to Zambia and, the second was in regards to the recent release of the list of six individuals by the ICC Chief Prosecutor Luis Moreno Ocampo, believed to be most responsible for the atrocities committed during the post election violence in Kenya.

During this Conference, HURINET-U and UCICC made known their position on the new trends; that is to say their continued support to promote accountability and the continued need to strengthen international criminal justice.
